Condition on admission.?Patient deeply jaundiced, drowsy and restless. Puffiness of hands, face and feet. Rash pale pink, fine and slightly raised on face and neck. Pupils normal?reaction sluggish?no photophobia. No haemorrhages. Tongue coated, dry, tremulous and deep yellow. Abdomen?liver 1^ inches and spleen 1 inch below costal margin. Circulating system?heart normal?pulse 98, volume fair. Blood pressure 90/60. Temperature normal. Respiratory system?dyspnoea?stertor-
